Possible reasons are:
1.Faulty solenoid coil.
2.Wire harness not connected to spool lock solenoid.
Diagnosis:
1.Check the spool lock solenoid coil resistance by multimeter. Resistance values shall be 37Ω.
2.Check the wire harness connection between spool lock solenoid & machine wire harness. Refer enclosed photograph for solenoid location.
Corrective Action:
3.Replace faulty solenoid coil.
4.Replace the faulty wire harness.
